Successful Launch of Communication Satellite SE-6 into Orbit via Proton-M Rocket
6.3.13 - Russia successfully launching of the SE-6 communications satellite into orbit via a 3-state Proton-M rocket.
International Launch Services (ILS) have launched their Proton-M rocket again from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Launch occurred at 09:18 GMT, with the Proton’s Briz-M (Breeze-M) Upper Stage now tasked with deploying the SES-6 communications satellite into its super-synchronous transfer orbit after over 15 hours of flight.
